I just wanted to let the community know that if you are a Twitch Prime member, the FF XIV base game is currently free (and the first 30 days are free as well)! If you decide that you want to give it a shot, let me know. There is a recruit a friend option that will let us both get an in-game bonus. Also, I play on Brynhildr, I would gladly let you join my Free Company and help you learn the game!

I guess I already had Twitch Prime since I had Amazon Prime and I didn't even know; for some reason I never connected the dots that they were related...so that's pretty cool! I have them linked now. I guess I will have to take advantage of this offer. Hopefully my Sony can run it...

Wanna send me a message on here with the refer friend details and we'll give it a shot?

I hope some others can join us!

Awesome! Well if the recruitment stuff works and it will run on your laptop, I am on the Brynhildr World. I hope it works!

I'm in! Still have a lot to learn obviously. I don't really play MMOs too often. It runs okay on my laptop but I will definitely need to invest in a desktop sooner rather than later. Let's do this!

I need to get you back on FF, I really enjoyed the short time we had together on there!

Well 2020 is shaping up to be quite the year financially, so if any time was a good time, I believe that time is now! I'm trying to find the old Thermaltake chassis amongst all of the boxes in my house...once I do, I will begin ordering a few components...I need to be playing on ultra graphics like Latdogg!

My PC has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, that is plenty of power to play FF on the top settings. You could honestly play it at full with a 1060 or 1050 if you're trying to conserve money.
